  • I tried this amazing tech yesterday; Went to sleep at approx. 23:45 and woke up at around 3. When I'm doing the cycles, I forget about it thinking about random stuff but suddenly I get back with the cycles but I don't remember where I stopped and just start again. IS it important to keep a balance in the duration of each sense?    
    You don't have to keep track of the durations. If a particular sense feels easy to focus on, you just focus on it longer. On the other hand, if it causes more strain then you should just skip it. As you repeat the cycles they eventually become easier and easier, requiring less efforts. Stop doing the cycles and go to sleep when you begin to encounter a lot of random thoughts.

    I tried it last night, resulted in vivid dreams and none lucid.  
    That usually means you did not wake up sufficiently before returning to bed :)  
    Will try it again today.  
    LD: Woke up in my bed, stabilized and went straight to the kitchen and to the fridge. Ate a few slices of pizza and sum chocolate but these were tasty.I went to the window then flew straight to the sky and I was in a different dimension with a city full of floating teapots. I think Ld ended here.

    edit: One more question, does physical movements during the cycles affect the progress of SSILD  
    Congratulations! That was one interesting LD for sure! :p Physical movements during the cycles do not affect the process. In fact you should feel free to move about if it helps keeping you relaxed. Simply compensate the movement with an additional cycle and you will be fine!
