I found myself in a bedroom from my youth. There were friendly looking cartoon eyes drawn all around the walls. They looked a lot like the emoticon I use in my dream journal to symbolize lucid dreaming.

In the way of dreams, I knew these eyes were my grandmother looking at me and I felt so happy. I grabbed my nose and pinched hard, and sucked in a big lungful of air through my nostrils. Ha! I was dreaming.

While awake I am a naturalist, but dream-me fully believed I was in the presence of my grandmother's spirit, which made me feel so happy I floated into the middle of the room, which made me feel even happier. I tried to reach out and touch things to stabilize the dream and bring on vision. (In the way of dreams, I could see but believed I was blind.)

I couldn't seem to reach anything. After that I lost lucidity.    

I'm feeling motivated now!
