Regarding SSILD, I was wondering, will it work if I take a long time to fall asleep? After doing SSILD, it takes me a while to sleep and I do head to the bathroom as well. Does that hinder my SSILD?

You shouldn't focus with SSILD. Let your mind wander, it's a good thing.
