• 主题:Continuing The Wild. Ld4All
  • I have been trying to WILD for some time now, i mostly dont wake myself up in the night to do it but are trying it directly when i go to bed. My attempt to WILD always goes pretty good until in the middle of body paralysis, when i get a weird pulsing feeling coursing through my body, whan that happens i just dont know what to do to continue.

So in the end i got two questions:

         1. Can you succed WILD directly when you go to bed.

         2. How do you continue WILD during the paralysing phase.

It's extremely difficult (though not impossible) to do WILD right when you go to bed. It's not at a very good time in your sleep cycle either. You've still got about 90 minutes to REM. Theoretically, you could do it, but it's really not going to work.

If you're getting to paralysis, you need to continue to let it happen. It's tricky trying to balance awareness with falling asleep, but you still need to let your mind fall asleep while being just aware enough of the process. You can't focus really hard on WILD. You'll keep yourself awake and you'll just fall asleep normally. You haven't said anything about HH, so I don't know whether you've run into any or not. A lot of people get them in varying degrees, but I myself don't get much.

HI and HH are usually good signs that you're getting pretty close to a dream. You need to let them happen, but don't try focusing too hard, that can chase them away. Soon enough, they should transition into a dream. I can't tell you at what point that you should go from HH and HI into a dream, since before, I just "knew" when I DID have HH. Don't force yourself in any of the process.
My actual REM Period begins from 3:00 AM. I Usually go to bed at around 12:00. Few days back i woke up in the middle of a dream due to Nocturnal Emissions at around 2:30, Went to the loo and got back to bed. No sooner had i gone to bed, after a few mins, (half hour) probably, when i was in semi conscious state, had hypnogogic images of me searching for my uncle in the corridor. I realised it to be a dream, since i was pretty much conscious, and suddenly felt a heavy lead blanket over me. Caught unaware i suddenly creeped out of it. It was my first WILD to be precise. Now i am searching for ways to keep my cool and convert it to LD, since i always fear in the dark.

I would suggest the same as ZRVera and as she said you didn't mention your experience with HH. I don't get them much at all so I don't rely on them as tool for entering dream.

I mostly rely on body sensations that I get under SP. When I hit certain point of SP I let myself to fall asleep and next second I'm in a dream, fully lucid.

Tell us more about you experience while being under SP!

As the above replies said, attempting WILD at the start of your sleep can be difficult. Even if you successfully enter SP and experience some of the typical sensations related to OBE such as viberations, ringing noise, etc., it can be extremely difficult to move on to the next stage. And even if you do make a successful seperation, chances are your experience will not be an enjoyable one because you are not in active REM. I'd suggest to go to sleep as quickly as possible, then focus on success later.
Y U try LD when you go to sleep?!?!?
