• 主题:Wild Help Appreciated Ld4All
  • I've been trying wild for some time now.  The thing is, I don't think I've ever actually gotten into sleep paralysis.  After some time of laying in bed my body starts to feel numb but it doesn't come in vibrational waves.  Also, I can still move at this point.  My vision feels like its coming from the center of my head instead of my eyes and I have a weird perception of my body.  I think that I might be too mentally awake.  I have yet to experience any hypnogogic imagery or anything.  If anyone could give me some help on just getting to sleep paralysis, that would be great.  I think I'll be able to get wild down after that step.

@StarryGwee summed it pretty well. I'll add my two cents here.

First off, SP usually happens upon waking up. Entering SP intentionally from a waking state is not always easy to do. Let's face it, in a sleep cycle you usually starts with NREM-1 and NREM-2. These are stages were your body is not yet fully shut down!

IMO, a lot of the time when we LDers say SP, we are not really talking about the authentic SP. What we experience is mind/body separation, which feels like SP but in a strict sense it is not.
