It seems that the last years "lucid dreaming" is getting more and more popular.
Has this already been known around here or am I the first to point it out?

It definitely is getting more known. I think more teachers are starting to mention lucidity when referring to dreaming in a psychological aspect. I mean, who wouldn't find it interesting?

The sudden increase around June 2010 was probably because of the movie "Inception". I also find it interesting that the country of Estonia has a lot of searches.

Our China-based LD forum grew from a few hundred people to more than 60,000 active members in less than two years!
one guy posted a post about LD to 9gag.com where millions of people saw it (including me)
Wow, it really gets popular now. A girl I know suddenly asked me all kinds of things about it, and another friend of mine tweeted something that a lot of his friends are talking about it.
So mostly because of 9gag.com I see?

yep the first time i heard about lucid dreaming was on 9gag as well
Yea me 2 9gag really opened alot of people eyes for Lucidity
